Hi to everybody...my amaryllis are coming out fully now and the perfume each night is very powerful...quite beautiful but knocks you out when you open the door first thing in the morning...LOL...still a lot of blooms to come...click on pics to see larger image...

This shot of the sea and Beachfront is blurred due to movement of the camera during long exposure, but I find the picture still has some aesthetic value for me.

Hi to everybody...I bought two Amaryllis and this is the start of the first bloom...it's very big and very colourful...I've another one that is going to be white with pink shading I think...that's just coming...during the day, I keep them in the conservatory because it's not cold in there yet, but I'm bring them into the kitchen each night...

£8.88 for a pint and then to remind you that you're pissing it away seems a little harsh at this Southampton pub.

I like this. It's not perfect but it was taken through very thick glass with a Sigma 70-300 on a tiger that wouldn't stand still! No cropping and just a tweak of the levels (to reduce some of the effects of the glass on colour)

I have to admit, it's one of my fave shots this year!

Spent an hour in Worcester today just wandering with the camera

There is a small bird sanctuary in Gheluvelt Park

with a pretty little bridge for footpath

the swans see happy enough

Whilst in town you cn find some intersting bits of old architecture

Behind the cathedral
On the high street

Elgar has taken up swimming

And with the price of gold at an all time high

This guy must be worth a fortune.
