I have been away from the blog for about two months concentrating on stock photography at www.Dreamstime.com and hopefully following initial rejections raising my game. As of today I have 90 images on that site. If anybody here is interested in microstock photography I will try to answer any questions if asked. Getting into this organization is a tutorial in itself since the reasons given for rejecting images allows one to learn, improve and resubmit. Rejection was not easy to take but necessary as part of my learning process.
My original submission of the broach in the attached image was rejected and I had to start again from scratch. I have other versions now resubmitted.

It took long enough and many attempts to avoid shadows and achieve focus. The broach is only about 15 mm or less in size. David.

I misread!!! I Now noticed the comment about no shadows and the size of the item. I stand corrected! Maybe a tighter crop though? My apologies,Steve
