I've a Sony cameraphone as well and if viewed in isolation, on a computer screen, they look damned good. If you take a comparison shot using a camera,(even a cheapo), you'll see the differences straight away. More so if you enlarge the image and actually do a print.
Mine is with me for those moments when I don't follow my own advice and go out without a camera.
Perhaps we could do a little cameraphone posting session, just to see what can actually be achieved? Post the picture title and add a capital C after the title to designate cameraphone pic.
I dunno, just a thought. A little tester, a little teaser, for those who consider themselves 'photographers'.
