Dazzling

The moon is absolutely dazzling tonight, pure gold. I have been feeling a bit rough today, but seeing her in all her beauty has raised my spirits.

The moon is made of swiss cheese

I am quite pleased with the detail of this photo as it seems to have captured one of the craters in profile, (I mean on the left of the picture). Unfortunately though, you cannot really see her golden aura which is truly splendid.

Thanks that is a helpful site, yes it looks like what I can see, there is no other such prominent structure in that area that I know of which is so clearly visible to the naked eye.

I was basing my conclusion on the profile being drawn two thirds of the way across the Mare Imbrium.

Did you see the picture antlady put up the other day? The moon was an amazing bronze colour, she believes it is due to the dust from the Russian volcano.

That is exactly how she seemed. I felt I could have leant out of the bedroom window and touched her. As it was I took this shot out of the window.
