Its odd that my seagulls have a red blob on their beak !

The underside of the beak of this one has a red blob which doesn't show up from the angle of this shot.
Very reassuring that it really is a gull ! David.

It's actually a herring gull, a bit like the common gull, but a little larger and while the common gull has a red eye, the herring gull as you can see has yellow eyes.
