I was asked if my earlier seagull pictures were of a white or grey gull. This is just to illustrate the bird's colouring.

Hello - this is a new camera. My other one is still poorly and it's repair isn't covered by the manufacturer's warranty despite only being purchased last September (what a surprise!!!!!) so I now have to shell out £50 if I want it repairing.

Good grief...I would have thought it would be covered for a year? Have you queried it? I would...should be covered for a full year at least...glad you've got a camera anyway...

It has a twelve month's guarantee so I may just challenge them.

Definitely!! With a twelve month guarantee, they should repair any damage within that period for free...they're trying it on!! Good luck...GBHs..XXX

Seagulls make good subjects, because they're not as scared as some other birds. Sometimes. they have even been known to stand around long enough for me to photograph them!

They did seem to enjoy having their pictures taken
