DSC03332

Looking south(ish) from Szentendre, Hungary, 20th July 2008.
The full moon is in the middle of the picture, just about to slip behind the clouds.
Budapest and the Danube are off the picture to the left.

Lovely subtle colours - morning is a great time for photography!

I took quite a few, with varying degrees of success. I need some time to go through them .
But I like this one especially because of the moon :) - I had to be very quick when I spotted it, because it was literally sinking below the cloudline and disappeared seconds later.

Pleasing photo but spoiled for me by memories of the film of the same name. Nuclear war.

And you seem to have captured perfectly the pilot's view from the B52's cockpit seconds before the blast :(

Not aware of it - I just nicked the line from the US national anthem :(
If I change the title will that help, or is the damage already done in your mind?
But looking on the bright side, the particular version of nuclear war that was presumably the scenario for that film never happened - and the fact that I just spent 5 days in a fellow EU member state proves it  - which at least gives me some hope for the future.
Yes, I know it's naive of me, but Cass can't have it all her own way :)
