They're just beginning to open up so this one's not as good as it ought to be. There are fields upon field of them over here.

I luvs the fields of sunflowers :yes:

As Seasideman observed, the fact that the flower isn't fully ready makes for interesting colour and pattern combinations :)

I never thought about that - I just thought what a shame it's still a bit closed up and green in the centre.

No, I think it's beautiful...lovely grading of colours and such an intricate design...gorgeous....very rarely see them now, but used to...GBHs..XXX
