If, as I suppose, this small boat crossed the North Sea from Sweden to the Moray Firth [then Beauly Firth entering the Caledonian Canal and into Muirtown Marina] I consider the crew to be very brave.

Interesting pic David, they are obviously a lot braver than I am, across the North sea!
Yes one big wave and you dare not think of the consequences ! David.
They've been coming across the North Sea in boats like that for centuries! Just not so often in modern times. *ahem*
But there were young children on board; I suppose they would have known what weather was expected David.

I'd rather sail in that than the high speed motor boats anyday!
On a calm sea no doubt David.

The owl epitomizes [ spelling ] wisdom ! David.

Or perhaps "couldn't give a hoot"!
I can't beat that try as I might. David.

You don't think that you'd be a "twit to woo" then??? !!!!
A twit perhaps; but I would hoot with delight !!!!!!!!!!!! David.

I could probably think of a wooed answer to that!!! but I won't
If you were too woooed you'd be in the water ! deep water. David.

Have you seen canal water recently ? David.

great shot, not a boat you want to be in open sea
Rabbit
That was exactly my opinion and certainly not with small children aboard. David.
