I just pointed my camera overhead, and clicked.  It gets bigger if you click on iit :-)

This might sound like a dumb question, but what is a "sensor" and how would I go about cleaning it? My camera is just a basic digital and the only thing I could clean would be the lens. No mention of a sensor in the manual either.
