Below is a photo of the brick stucture at the bottom of my garden that I will be transforming into a photographic studio over the summer. It's quite a large project, but once finished, it will provide me with a studio/workshop where I'll be able to continue with my model and product photography business working from home. Currently, I either work on-site ot have to hire studio space.
Over the summer, I will be replacing the window and door that you can see above, adding 4 foot to the left side of the building and 6 foot to the back and then replacing the roof. This will give me a total working area of 20 x 16 foot, which isn't very large, but is adequate to my needs for now.
Once all of the structual work is completed, I will be kitting out the interior with all of the latest gear, including lighting, back-drops, cameras and a computer editing work-station.
I hope and I pray, though, that this summer is a good one that allows me to get the job done in the time-frame I have set myself... Wish me luck!!!
