Dalserf Parish Church
Church of Scotland

Built 1655, centre transept added 1892. Oblong building with pulpit on long side. Outside stairs to three galleries. Belfry. Two large memorial windows on either side of pulpit by Douglas Hogg. The graveyard contains a pre-Norman hogback stone and an outstanding Covenanting memorial 1753, to Rev John MacMillan, founder of the Reformed Presbyterian Church. Off A72 between Garrion Bridge and Rosebank.

Super image of the church ; the only comment is why leave out the stone the woman is reading ? She is clearly interested in the history of an ancestor or something similar ! David.

i would have waited for a couple of minutes for the woman to leave the shot, otherwise its a great picture
