Exhibition

Today fellow snappers I had the pleasure of visiting an exhibition of the works of world famous David Hurn (Of the Magnum photography group), the exhibition was entitled 'A welsh life' and along with new stuff it was also a small retrospective of David's documentary work.

In a word it was FANTASTIC.

I strongly suggest if anyone is going to be in the South Wales area before the 5th of July, they pop down to Newport Art Gallery/Museum and see it! It's free too!

I've also been told Mr Hurn is giving talks about his work on the 4th of June and the 21st of June, which I'll definately go and see.

If you're in the area you really should check it out! Especially you Usky!

Good shout Chris, I have not come across his work before so I
had a look at the Magnum site. His work reminds me of the late
Tony Ray Jones, I hope I can find the time to nip down and have
a gander as the original prints always bring an extra dimension
to work of this quality.
