As mentioned in an earlier post I finally managed to grab some time to do my 2008 bluebell shoot. I had walked the dogs earlier in the day and had a few ideas for the best locations. As I approached the location with my camera still in the bag two young deer sprung up from the blue woodland floor before deciding to leg it.
Sadly this is the view minus the deer.
Deer????

shame, remember the boy scout motto 'Always be Prepared' I have a missed afew wildlife shots because I didn' thave me camera ready I bet every one as missed the money shot.

Thanks for all the kind comments, I am planning to photograph
wild boar on Sunday.
I don't usually try and photograph wild life but a friend has persuaded me that he can take me to them, so its a early start.
I have seen the effects of the boar on the bluebells and know they are about in numbers but I have yet to see one, let alone
photograph one.
It's a 6.00am start but I hope to be back in bed by 9.00am
