I didn't realise that the ceanothus is related to the lilac - you live and learn.

Beautiful but it is a pain!! Every single tiny bud is sticky and if you walk anywhere near it you get covered in them and my dressing and Ray's is still covered with the seeds after going through the washing machine...teach us to go into the garden and refill the bird feeders in the morning before we got dressed...HLOL...the bird feeders hang from its branches and stay dry all summer and winter...great big hugs...XX
