I Missed The Money Shot !

by paparazzistyle @ Friday, May. 16, 2008 - 22:46:33

As mentioned in an earlier post I finally managed to grab some time to do my 2008 bluebell shoot. I had walked the dogs earlier in the day and had a few ideas for the best locations. As I approached the location with my camera still in the bag two young deer sprung up from the blue woodland floor before deciding to leg it.

Sadly this is the view minus the deer.

Holy water font Nimes

by isasfotos @ Friday, May. 16, 2008 - 18:28:42

I thought it was time I posted one of my recent holiday snaps.
I was fascinated by the giant shell which is the Holy water font in Nimes Cathedral.

Bad Choices

by antlady69 @ Friday, May. 16, 2008 - 16:24:26

Sometimes I take photos and just don't see how I could have made them look better, until I view them on my computer. Too late then!

In the photo below, I wish I had focused on the pistil and stamen on the left, and not on the blossoms up front:

Stempel

And for this next photo I should have aimed a little lower to capture more of the yellow blossoms, and then call it "a sea of yellow" or somesuch:

Symphony in yellow

These are just two of many bad choices I made - and I'm only talking photography here ;D

Do you have similar problems? Or are you that experienced that all your photos come out the way you want them?

I like this photo for some reason.

Was testing the effects on the camera for the first time that day and thought this one turned out quite nicely!

Ceanothus - for Jenray

I didn't realise that the ceanothus is related to the lilac - you live and learn.

Messing around here really, I just tried to capture the mast, with the sun right behind, just to so what it turned like. Do I like it or hate it, am not really sure?
