When I registered my Fuji camera I became part of a "community"
They hold a photie comp every month
Last monnths had over 2000 entries!!!!!
And the posted entries were approved and submitted after appraisal by Fuji themself!!
The new comp opened today, being the first of the month....
130 entries so far eeeek
The theme is round and round.
I had a couple of ideas but already had been beaten to it lol!
So I submitted not a clever one in particular but one that showed off so to speak the potential of the camera
Fuji run it, they judge it and the prizes are from Fuji....
Maybe less is more huh????
Last months winner used the same camera as me and the picture was superb!!!!!

What a pair of posers these two are (and I didn't even have to bribe them). Pity the sun was in the little ones eyes.

Hi guys,

I was having a conversation with somebody earlier about sports photography. Mainly how the best shots are more often than not images which sum-up the action, rather than the action itself. We then got on to the subject of the 'worlds greatest sports shot' and both agreed that the infamous picture of Ali stood triumphantly over Sonny Liston is one of the best. Just wondered if anyone had any other suggestions?

Also, I'm flying in a couple of weeks and am hoping to fly with only hand luggage, do you think I will get away with taking a tripod on the plane?

The two species, do not get on the white mute swans always chase the black swans away. It just occurred to me I used to drink in a pub called the Black Swan or the muckie duck as we called it.
