Following on from the transport theme I thought I would post this with an explanation of
how to create the effect.

For those with photoshop who want to create this effect its quite easy !

Capture your moving subject with a fast shutter speed, we can add the blur later.

Make a selection around the car and invert the selection.Ensure this selection is feathered about 5 should do it.

Go to FILTER and BLUR, control the direction and amount of the blur in this case Horizontal and 15%

Deselect selection.

Using the lassoo tool make a selection on a wheel go to filter blur/radial blur and
choose how much spin to add to the wheels. Repeat on each wheel.

Deselect. Done !

This technique can be used on cars that are not moving.

.........is possibly a weed (no - not that one!). It's taken over a terracota pot containing an olive 'tree'. It's very pretty so it's going to stay.
