Thanks! I was pleased when I loaded it onto the computer as it looked better than I expected! :)

How pretty,
We haven't had snow like that where we are just a few heavy sleet showers :)

I had to be out on my walk in good time this morning as it thawed fast and was gone by lunchtime.

I'm not one for long lie-ins anyway. My weekend time is too precious! :)

Me neither but I usually stay indoors if the weather is cold..brrr.
Today though I left the house to go to work around 9.30am

The first one looks vaguely familiar - where is it? Anywhere near Bishops Castle? :)

No, it's Buntingsdale near Market Drayton.

I do like these! I've just looked in my camera manual to find it has a snow scene mode! I'll have to remember that for next time.

Sometimes I'm not sure which mode to use! :) e.g. if taking a picture of a flower covered in snow, do I need snow mode or foliage mode?!

Try both then chose which shot you prefer! I've not got a foliage mode on mine.

I have been known to do that! :) After all, with a digital photo it doesn't cost or waste anything if you don't like the photos.

Nice pics, but, doesn't the snow make them in to cracking pictures.

Thanks Joe. I like the way the snow seems to make the branches of the trees stand out somehow.
