I love it - well done!
We have a little Robin that hops into our garden from time to time - but I never have a camera ready!

I have them come eat from the two seed hangers in the garden alongside a whole collection of other lovely small birds plus a blackbird and a couple of very fat pigeons...BLOL...big hugs...

Let's see other examples please ; it is not easy to get sharp uncluttered images as the birds are only still momentarily and if they see you buzz off ! David.

Well its still not as good as I would like. Yesterday I bought fat in a coconut shell and peanuts to get the birds to come close to the spade and hopefully land on it. Then chose a long lens 300 mm and set it at a fast 'film speed ' equivalent. The shot was hand held and through the kitchen window.
David.

Lovely shot there, crisp and clear and the colour is wonderful.

Excellent, a classic image of a Robin "The gardener's friend"

I am trying again today. Secret is that I built a tiny unobservable platform behind the spade handle [ glue it on supported by 3 nails ] and put sunflower and other seeds on it. Then its just a question of patience and making sure the kitchen window is reasonably clean. Today I have a tripod on the kitchen surface but cats keep frightening the birds away. David.
