I saw this hen at a garden centre today and for a split second it stopped nibbling in the dust, looked up and remained still. hen0227site

Challenge week 2 Reflections.

by davidjohn @ Saturday, Mar. 15, 2008 - 22:24:56

I captured this shot at Nairn Harbour this afternoon where people were preparing their boats to sail away at Easter. Its not my best shot but I thought the colours of the boats and the masts reflected in the water met the challenge criteria.

Another Angel.....

by Esspee @ Saturday, Mar. 15, 2008 - 20:53:27

As the weather been quite poor I have not been out with the camera much, so concentrating on trying to do some digital editing instead
Only just learning and when viewed full-size maybe not so brilliant
It is quite tricky trying to "paint" with a mouse. Maybe when I am "flush" I will invest in a graphics tablet ;)
OK.....Bit of cloning and altering the background colour......

"The splendour of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not rob the little violet of it’s scent nor the daisy of its simple charm. If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness." - Therese of Lisieux

Such a nice peaceful sound that of a babbling brook,
Just the place to sit and dream or read your favourite book.

Isn't spring here YET?

by la_spice @ Saturday, Mar. 15, 2008 - 08:37:34

No it's not a fluffy bunny from Watership Down.

Day's Eye was the old name for this sunny little flower, changed over time to daisy.

Have a lovely day!
