Loads of Colours,,,, Yes?
Killing two birds...
As many contributors to this group undoubtedly know Sigma Imaging produce some of the finest lenses money can buy, comparatively speaking.
Canon users swear by Canon lenses of course and Nikon users like myself swear by Nikon's products, but the truth is manufacturer's glassware tends to be horribly expensive. If, like me, you work on a budget you will need occasionally to find an alternative; for me that's where Sigma come into their own.
No I'm not going into a sales pitch, just pointing out a good product...
That's the first bird.
The second bird is my obsession with rusty objects; as visitors to my blog will be aware. I'm not known as Rusty Usky for nothing!
So this is the stone to bring it all together.
Be Wary
Uskrider made a valid point when commenting on one of pictures, although is was said jokingly he is correct. The point he was making that I had no model release when posting the picture of the Homeless Man. In this day and age, with copyright laws and human rights the photographer cannot just go taking pictures of all and sundry. If we do we are liable to infringe their human rights and they can demand that we delete the pictures we have taken, or they may demand payment if we publish these pictures.
On that point before taking pictures of children, especially if the children are partially clothed while on the beach, please be aware that the parents of these could and probably would take great offence. You could be labelled a paedophile, the Childs father may even inflict some damage on your person and the police would not take your side.
On a similar point be careful when taking pictures of public and Government building, you might find yourself looking down the wrong end of a barrel and the only shots you might take will be those from a Heckler and Cock 9mm rifle. Believe me when I say because it has actually happened. I am not saying that we can’t take pictures like these but in this climate we have to be careful. Speak to people you will find most are quiet happy to have their photograph taken.
Time out
Not exactly homeless, but these two were certainly taking time out...
The Guardian of the Book
More spooky stuff !
Your thoughts are always welcome.
Homesick...
Five minutes away from this.....

But I miss being five minutes away from this........
Should we Stop????
A Moving Experience.
Like many people I felt this week's earthquake.
Another moving moment in my life was being present at the birth of this little chap four years ago.
Carrying on the Theme......
Homeless man rooting through a bin.......
Unfortunately I had to take it quick so the depth of field is wrong ![]()
I think it may be possible to edit it and soften the background but it was more a "throw away" pic that I remembered I had!
Homeless Lady
I took this a couple of years, well sat in the church yard eating my lunch; the same faces came in every day!
