Very pretty - no ideas on names though - sorry!
I have just remembered the bottom one is a Californian Poppy!

I think the bottom one is Potentilla fruticosa Longacre, but the top one is driving me up the wall...I had it in my previous garden and can't find out the name of it anywhere and it's a common shrub, very popular in plant catalogues and I've thrown all mine away now...LOL...lovely pics though...big hugs...
Jen i've just rememebered the bottom flower is a Californian poppy, sorry, i'm a plonker aren't I? you can't tell the size of it from the pic, it is quite small and delicate, flowers which grow annually from seed, now I will plant some more this year in our new garden......is that the same flower? The lemony shrub is a popular one you see them all over the place and they flower for ages -good value for money!
big hugs xx

Oh, isn't that funny...I looked at it and that was my first thought...they grow in the gravel in one of the front gardens around here and are so pretty but never seen them so prolific...usually they grow singly...if you look up the one I mentioned you'll see it's very similar....I'll see if I can find it again...no, found another picture and it's not the same flower..mine's definitely a shrub...sorry about that
Still don't know what the other one is....big hugs...

I believe that it is called, Hypericum, but, I may be wrong.
Flower close-ups I like.
Thankyou Joe I can say it sounds familiar -they are seen all over in the summer - the lemony curd smell i love!
