Variety, "The Bride". Pic taken in 2007. The flowers of this shrub are just breaking through and with its "Gently arching habit and abundant clusters of fragrent pure white flowers" from March through to the end of April, tell you that spring is very near.

You know I love Bumbles and they are sadly becoming rarer -here's one I took last year

Taken in the summer last year, have not been doing much photography this year and must try harder....the leaves of this shrub smell of lemons, anyone know what they are called?

Hi eyeryone, just a note to bring you up to date with my doings.

I am using a friend's computer to make this short post, because mine is out of action. I am currently in the process of getting my broadband changed to a wireless set up, but that is not the only reason that I haven't been on here.

I am currently decorating my stairs and landing, so the computer has been dismantled temporarily. I have also had some work done on the outside of the house (new guttering and fascia boards) it looks much smarter.

The progress on my daughter's house buying is going at a leisurely pace (the wheels of commerce grind slowly).

Well, that's all I have to say just now, I will catch up with what you are all doing soon, when the wireless network is set up.
