I love the patchwork fields seen in the Dales.
Notice the meandering river.
One of a number preserved on the outskirts of Bruges open to the public.
As a child I remember being told 'Once a King always a King but once a night's enough' !
This image of this Knight was captured at Skipton Castle.
This image of a very clearly multiracial group of children was captured on the path from Malham Cove in Yorkshire last Summer 2007.

Thought I'd post this one for Spicy... it certainly isn't Eric's little chum Ernie
You might want to click and enlarge.
Today I've been busy gardening but I wasn't alone.
I've posted this second picture to show you the fruits of his labour.
Just see the fullness of the pollen sacs on his hind legs.

None of these pictures has been fiddled with in any way at all. They were taken last night just before it got completely dark, using a long exposure to make the sea look weird.
I'm not sure if these look good or not. Thoughts?
Cheers, Tom.
All the rides are over and done
It's late and no prizes are left to be won
The rides are closed, it's the end of the day
The horses are moving away
Yes the fair's moving on
And I'll soon be gone
Remember the love that we've known.
The music has ended, the carousel's still
The horses in boxes with the big Ferris wheel
The canvass and glitter are safely on board
The trailers will soon hit the road
Yes the fair's moving on
And I'll soon be gone
Remember the love that we had.
At dawn I'll be gone but I'll soon return
Till then the fair's moving on.

Just thought I'd tweak my little lion a bit... you can view the original image here in the Photography Blog or in my media.
These are just concrete block of various sizes built on undulating ground. There is not one name of a victim on the blocks. But it thought provoking and it’s peaceful and quiet there. The blocks are coated with a special material to prevent them being vandalised.

I took this pic on an old camera.
Simply a point and shoot.
When I saw it I liked it.
Set it as my Wallpaper pic on my PC.
I think purely cos it drew you to the middle, leaving the left hand side "quite uncluttered" for Icons. (on Windows)
My mum visited. I turned the PC on.
She wanted to know where I downloaded it!!
Told her it was a pic of mine and burned it on a C.D for her.
My mum put it on hers and my sister saw it, asked her where she got it!
So my sis got it as her wallpaper too!!!
This makes me feel quite happy lol!
An image I took is appreciated and enjoyed and shared
OK after the big bloody build up here is the pic!!!!!
