The sunset as seen here in Shropshire at 6.11pm today.
I took this photo with my compact digital camera on Auto setting. Usually I use the appropriate scene settings, but I don't get on with Night Scene mode. It tends to make the picture fuzzy, maybe because I don't have a tripod? (Any advice welcome).
This photo has not been edited at all. The colours are as seen by the camera.

Taken on my very last motorcycle tour of France. Two weeks later I had a heart attack, haven't ridden since.

This is one of my favourite pieces of art...
Woman is carved from a tree that was shattered by high winds a few years ago.
I think she is truly beautiful... so alive... so in tune with her environment.
